North East England is one of the most fascinating places in the country to photograph and it's no accident that some of the UK's leading photographers live and work here. From craggy coastlines to rolling hills, from castles to bridges to THAT wall, there's so much to explore. I've been noting my favourite photo spots over the years, as well as some that are on my 'to do' list. The map below shows more than 70 of the top photo spots across the North East that should appeal to all types of photographer. I've linked to websites and images where available (you may need to click the link again to confirm you want to follow it). I hope you will find the map useful. Do get in touch if you have any suggestions or corrections.
